The UNSGSA will attend Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Global Forum, and she will participate in a fireside chat on financial health at Semafor’s 'The Next 3 Billion' event, in conversation with Semafor co-founder and editor-in-chief Ben Smith. Bilateral meetings will be held with Heads of State and private sector executives on the sidelines of both events.
On Thursday 25 September, the UNSGSA will bring together a small, cross-regional group of UN member states to discuss opportunities for collaboration on financial health within the UN System. She will also meet with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and present him with the first annual report on her work as the Special Advocate for Financial Health. Later in the day, together with the BlackRock Foundation, the UNSGSA will co-host a roundtable with corporate executives, financial institutions, and policymakers on the role of employers in supporting the financial health of employees.
