UNSGSA Queen Máxima Appointed Chair of Global Finance & Technology Network’s International Advisory Board

Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate on Financial Health, has been appointed Chair of the Global Finance & Technology Network’s (GFTN) International Advisory Board as of 1 July 2025.

The GFTN is a global not-for-profit headquartered in Singapore that works to create more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial systems through global collaboration. The network hosts international forums, including the Singapore FinTech Festival, to share knowledge and best practices, and advises companies and governments on policies that drive technological innovation in the financial sector.

In her role as chair of the Advisory Board, the UNSGSA looks forward to advising the GFTN on how its work can best contribute to financial health across the globe. 

The members of the International Advisory Board of GFTN include Sanjiv Bajaj, Dominic Barton, Agustín Carstens, Hon. Paula Ingabire, Eric Jing, Dr Patrick Njoroge, Dr Veerathai Santiprabhob and Dr Axel Weber.
